Using The Law of Attraction To Get Good SAT Scores
Note: this was a question asked at a favorite site of mine: Powerful Intentions, which is a community based on the Law of Attraction. It's worth taking a look!
Hello,
I have never been more confident about something in my life. I asked, and I allowed, I talked about it positively to everyone and I even felt like it was already mine! Before I took the SAT's I did all the steps, I saw myself reaching a 1250, I felt it. Yet, somehow, I by far didn't reach my goal.
PLEASE HELP ME... I don't want to lose all hope!

Dear Amanda,
Using the Law of Attraction means you ask and the Universe answers. The allowing is where people get tripped up. Allowing doesn't mean your intended manifestion automatically flows into you without any deliberate work or effort on your part. It means you are guided toward appropriate action for what you want. In your case the guidance might have been toward an SAT Prep course, or a certain book that would help, or even a coach that would point you in the right direction.
Beyond that however is the thing you are asking for. This often doesn't sit well with people who practice LOA - and feel free to respond with any disagreements. Asking for a certain number on a test is pretty specific stuff. What is it you really wanted, Amanda? The 1250 on the SAT represents something. Was it a better chance at being offered admission to a certain college? Was it the opportunity to pursue a certain career path or feeling a certain way when you go to school?
It seems these are the things you might really be after, and the SAT score is something you perceive as a means of getting you there. If what you truly wanted was the score itself, it seems like you're self worth is way too tied up in what you achieve on a certain test on a certain day. That is the opposite of allowing good things to come into your life.
Think about this for a bit. I compliment you on studying Law of Attraction at such a young age, when most of your friends no doubt have their attention on very different things.
All The Best,
