Dear Guidance Guy, I used to have a best friend. Last year, we would always hang out. All of my other friends were jealous. They were always trying to split us up. During the summer, my friend and I didn't go to the same camp, so she was stuck with another girl. When I get back the following school year, we end up with opposite schedules, and most of my friend's classes were with her summer camp buddy. Now I'm invisible to her, and all she does is hang out with her summer camp buddy. I'm so upset I lost my best friend. What do I do? Yours Truly,NoaP.S. Dear Noa,

Since you don't want to talk to her, the best advice I can give is go onto the next part of your life. She made a choice about who she wants to be friends with.

One more piece of advice, Noa. If you take the upset feeling you have into getting some new friends, the only one's you'll have are people who are also upset. Think about how nice things were between you and your old friend and be happy for those times. Then, realize how COOL it is to be friends with you. The right people will show up.
