How Long Until I Should Ask Him Out Again?
Dear Guidance Guy,
I asked out this really cute guy and he said he wasn't ready for a girlfriend yet. How long should I wait to ask him again, and should I tell my parents becauseevery time I tell them that I like someone they tease me about him. What should I do?

Dear Ms. Confused,
If a guy says he's not ready for a girlfriend, I'd take him at his word. I don't see any time in the near future that would make him ready. If you ask him again soon, my guess is it will come off as annoying and ruin any chance for a future relationship. There are a lot of cute guys out there. Maybe a different one is right for you.
As for telling your parents, tell them again if you want to get teased again. Right now it doesn't seem as if there's much to tell anyway.
