Two Way Crush
Dear Guidance Guy,
I have a crush on one girl but then I talk to her friend a lot and and I can make her laugh. But the girl I have a crush on thinks I'm weird and I can't really make her laugh. I knew her friend when I was four and she had a crush on me back then. One of the boys she is friends with says she might have a crush on me. What do I do?

Dear Vinny,
Crushes are moments at the beginning of a relationship when you are attracted to someone. Sometimes they turn into bigger relationships. And sometimes they don't. You get to do whatever you want, but it doesn't look like anything's happening with the girl you have a crush on. My guess is that it will fade away.
If you like the friend - meaning you feel good when she's around - and she likes you, it could be the start of something nice. But there is no need to go out with someone just because they have a crush on you. It has to be something both of you enjoy. You shouldn't go out with her (or anyone) because you feel you're supposed to. Let things happen naturally. That's the way things work out best.
Thanks for a cool letter,
The Guidance Guy
