Embarrassed About Planner
Dear Guidance Guy,
I have a big problem. Just because I got one measly C on my report card I now have to get my planner signed everyday. They are constantly reminding me even in front of my friends. It embarrasses me so much.

Dear Kid,
I'm assuming the "they" you're talking about are your teachers or parents. Either way, one thing you can do is go to them when no one else is around and ask them not to do that. Maybe some kind of signal you'll both know but no one else will might do the trick.
As for getting the planner signed, if it helps you get better grades, I think it's a good idea. I would get all your work done for at least a few weeks. Then you can go to your parents and tell them you don't need it anymore because you got into better habits. See if that helps.
