Does He Have A Crush On Me?
Dear Guidance Guy,
I have a crush on a boy that's a year older then me. Now, at the school's Halloween party, I didn't notice him once, which is good because I'm glad I had a good time with out worrying about him. When my Mom was driving me home she told me something. She said right when I walked in the door, my crush was staring at me, smiling. Then he was watching me and my friend hanging out, and then when we ran over to the door to greet our other friend who just arrived, he sort of moved away from his group of friends and somewhat followed me. Then, when my guy friends came and we were all hanging out, hugging, posing for pictures, he looked a little...sad, maybe even jealous. Does it sound like he has a crush on me? I need help.

Yes, it does sound like he has a crush on you. The bigger question is what you want to do about it. If he's hanging around, nervous about approaching you, is he dating material? Will you have a good time with him...enough to get over the butterflies in your stomach? If so, approach him.
But be ready for anything. I'm not sure he'd know what to do if you started talking with him. Might be something great, might be something embarrassing! The good news is that time is on your side. He'll get older and more confident, and so will you. Then we see how you both feel!
